Becoming Organized!

I am so excited about this post. The old me used to throw everything away. My mom never gave me any of my old things because she was sure I would get rid of them. Somewhere in the last few years (I'll blame my twins:) I became a hoarder. I have held on to everything. I get rid of stuff here and there, but not like I used to. Then yesterday it hit me. I was talking to my friend...(think Monica on Friends, because she is abnormally organized..I mean that in a good way.) Was telling me how she doesn't have any junk drawers...(I was trying to think of a drawer in my house that doesn't have junk.) Anyway I took her to my closet. She was probably repulsed, but was nice enough to tell me she could help. So I decided yesterday to get a head start and get rid of things I don't need before she came back again. So this is the progress I have done on my OWN! I will keep you updated for the grand finally. Oh and get this...she even has a label maker! I am going to be so organized. Wahoo! Notice the garbage bags...9 filled and ready for the D.I.!

I'm totally impressed. I haven't done an organization like that since... hmm... ever!
Now I'm feeling anxiety, like I need to go clean out something, somewhere in my house!
Thanks a lot! :)

Betsy,
I love reading your blog, your such a cute mom! I dont know if you remember me, Amera Leach Jarvis from middle school and high school. We were never the best of friends, but I remember you always singing to me in english class in 9th grade! I loved listening to you sing and talking about your future husband Gentry! He would always send you flowers during class too! Looks like things are going well for you! I saw your blog through Becca Lynch....Anyway, Your a cute mom and good job on cleaning your house out! I should try it sometime!

Good job! I need your friends help on mine! Oh, I am so impressed that Gentry is reading those books. If only I could get Brooks to even think about anything remotely girly!

We did some similar organizing after Christmas, but only because we needed to find space for all of the new stuff. I think it is a natural thing in January (what else is there to do indoors) or maybe I am just "nesting"...i don't know, but your things look great!
