WINDY WINDY WINDY

It has been super windy here today.  I feel like I can't even go outside without being blown over.  My boys were playing outside and then I saw them put these goggles on.  I asked what they were doing and they said they couldn't see because stuff kept blowing in their eyes.  So they decided to use goggles.  See I guess my squinty eyes come in handy during wind storms...my kids didn't inherit them so they have to use goggles.  Look who's special now:)  Um they even have the goggles upside down.

Introducing Jacob, Bridger, and Ally.

So yesterday the kids decided to change their names. They told us to call them by their new names. I didn't think much of it until I came home from church and saw this.

They told their primary teachers to call them by their new names too.  I love that their teacher even wrote Bridger's name (aka Boston) at the top of his paper.

Legally Blonde

Our friends Eric and Natalie took us to see Legally Blonde at the Capitol Theater.  It was so much fun.  I LOVE Legally Blonde, so I couldn't wait to see the play.  I was wondering how the play would be because the movie isn't a musical.  I noticed the whole time I sat watching the play with a grin on my face.   It was a hit!  I don't know what I was thinking.  I forgot to wear my heart bracelet and a pink outfit.  Maybe next time...

This picture makes me laugh because when we checked to see if everyones eyes were open, Gentry put his head down like he was ashamed.  Eric started laughing and Gentry said. "I just have really sensitive eyes."  Well at least we all got a good laugh.  It's become a little bit of a joke because Gentry really can't keep his eyes open when there is a flash.  Awwwe he's still so cute though.

When Did They Grow UP???

I can't believe my boys went from this

Brock talked Boston into holding the bike so he could ride it.

A little while later he came in crying.  I asked what was wrong and this is what I found.
:
He didn't have his shoe laces tied tight enough and they wound around and around on the peddles.  He finally had to crash on the grass to get out of his shoes and off the bike.

My boys are the best of friends...(and sometimes enemies too).  They definitely keep me entertained.

Roller Skating

I told the kids that we might go to Classic Skating with their cousins. The next thing I hear is Alyssa counting 1-2-1-2-1-2 to Boston. She is helping him learn to skate...without skates. They were sliding around with their socks and they were quite proud of themselves.

Leave it to Boston to actually follow along.

Lava Hot Springs

A few weeks ago the photographer who took our family pictures (Peter Loosli) asked us to go to Lava to have our pictures taken at the hotel and pool. He was doing pictures for the people who owned the hotel and they wanted pictures of a family having fun. The kids LOVED it. We all had a great time and they took care of all of our food and hotel. Gentry and I even got to have a massage! Here are a few pictures from the trip. (I think Peter took around 1,300...so I have a ton to choose from.) I was excited to get these pics because it is just us playing and having a good time.

This was actually fun for me because the water was so warm. I think they said it was 103 degrees. The pictures aren't blurry it's just the steam coming off the water.

FAMILY NIGHT

Tonight for family night we decided to make a fire and roast marshmallows. The kids think it's so much fun. When we came in we all needed a shower because we smelled so bad.

This picture I'm laughing because Brock was having a hard time looking at the camera to smile because the smoke was burning his eyes. He kept trying to plug his nose too.

Then we came inside and picked someone to sit on the "special chair" (aka the ottoman). Everyone took a turn to say something nice about that person. I was really proud of each kid saying such nice things about each other. They may fight...but deep down they love each other:)

Brock, not only is he wearing his favorite shirt...he wears it backwards every-time!

The kids even said nice things about me and Gentry:) It was pretty cute. They were sweet to us.

And yes...I'm wearing pajama pants at 6:00 in the evening. But if you know us, you know that we are ready for bed early...

Indoor Soccer

Brock just finished basketball, and now it's indoor soccer time again. He is so fun to watch. He reminds me of Gentry, they get so intense when the game starts. He is a pretty fast little guy. He is the one wearing white....getting the ball back.
He gets really serious about the game.
Tyson fell yesterday and Brock stopped to see if he was OK. It was funny because you could tell he was torn between checking on his friend and making sure the other team didn't score.
Well it looks like Brock and Tyson are the shortest. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed my boys get a little height.
I think I forgot to post these pics from basketball. Grandpa Kim and Grandma Cyndy took him to buy Air Jordans. He LOVES them to say the least.

Good Times..

Gentry had a boys trip with some of his friends to golf in St. George over the weekend. It worked out good because I was able to have my friend Adrienne come in to town for a visit. She brought her two kids with her. My kids were so excited to have a "sleep over" with their friends. They all played really good together, now we are just counting down to the next time she comes.
While Adrienne was here we decided to do pictures like the one I did for my boys room. I think they turned out pretty cute. Tenli's picture has a glare in this pic, but it is adorable in real life. I loved the pic of Jett, he was actually hunting with his dad, this wasn't set up.
When we were at the store a girl asked if we were sisters. I laughed because I don't think we could be any more opposite. I'll take the compliment though:)

We took the kids to Chuck E Cheese's, but there was an hour wait so we went to Chick-fil-a to eat. It ended up working out really good and the kids had plenty of tokens to play games.
We got a babysitter and went to see Dear John. I really liked it. I would recommend it! Then we had to stop at Chili's to grab a little dessert. Yup we ate it ALL...I should probably regret it, but it was darn good.
This was a much needed visit! I was supposed to meet her in St. George a month ago, but for some reason Blanding has had record snow and she got snowed in. When they got here, her little boy Jett asked "Why is it still fall here?" Because we didn't have any snow. I thought that was pretty funny. So when is the next visit A?
