Quick Trip to Eagle Idaho

My brother Alan and his family moved to Eagle Idaho last summer, and I'd never been there to see their house.  He started his own Occulo-plastics office there.  It was so fun to see his office, his house and of course him and his family.

This is part of his waiting room area.  The whole office is beautiful.  I loved the paint colors too.  He has a ton of really cool pictures on the walls, I wish I would have taken more pics.
When we got to their house we had to take a tour!
Michele was so nice and had dinner all ready for us.
Their yard is huge and beautiful.  I loved their whole neighborhood.
I gave Alan a quick haircut while I was there....doesn't it look nice?!?
Janay drove my car...I don't drive on freeways.
Well now that I know how fun it is...I gotta bring my whole family back!

FUN TIMES AT RIVERTON HIGHSCHOOL

Connor called us a few days ago and told us that the high school was doing a "Silver Rush Gives Back" type of event.  They put this together to thank the community for their donations during Christmas time.  Riverton City gave them money to help put on the event.  It was in the gym of the high school (thank goodness because the weather was a little cold that day.)

The different activity groups put on different booths.  Some did face painting, others did ring toss games or finger painting. They even had popcorn, cotton candy, brownies, hamburgers and hotdogs.  My kids were in heaven going from booth to booth.

They had a few different bouncy houses and slides that the kids played on.
They won lots of candy playing the different games.
Alyssa got an "R" for Riverton Highschool.
All of the high school kids were really cute with all of the little kids.

Jennifer and Christa came with their kids.
Boston was very proud of his artwork.

Angie came for some of the fun too!
Gentry was actually the one taking all of the pictures, so I thought he needed one...but he didn't seem too thrilled about it....
So I made him take another one:)
Now for the really fun stuff......

We are now proud owners of 3 FISH!!!! (Technically only 2 now, Brock's fish died last night.)

EASTER CELEBRATIONS

I took the kids to the Riverton Easter Egg Hunt.  This was the first year Gentry wasn't able to make it.  Welcome to the life of a car salesman:)  The kids scored lots of "awesome" toys and treats.

Usually Gentry and I split up and go with each of the kids, so we were so glad that our fun neighbor Maisen was here so Alyssa had someone to stay in her age group with.

I couldn't believe how much the boys got!  They were really nice and shared with some of our neighbors and Jennifer's kids at the end.

 Jennifer and her kids.
My neighbor Christa and her kids.
The kids were being stinkers last night and I threatened them that we weren't celebrating Easter the next day....but of course I didn't stick with it and we ended up having Easter.  (Note to self...they actually sleep in a little bit if they don't think the Easter bunny is coming.)

They were excited to see what the Easter bunny brought.  Gentry and I gave them these scooters.  I found them a while ago on sale, and I thought they would like them.  They always love anything they play outside with.  Plus I figure it's good exercise and they don't make a mess in the house.

I think the kids were happy with the scooters.  They had asked for Power Ranger costumes, but I told them they don't get to ask for presents for Easter.  The Easter bunny just brings treats.
The kids wanted these hollow bunny chocolates (which I think are gross and way overpriced) so they were excited to see they got them in their Easter baskets.  Of course they had to open them and start eating it before they even found the eggs that were hidden.
*Sidenote* They didn't even finish the overpriced chocolate bunnies...I found them in the garbage...see I DO know what I'm talking about.
Alyssa was smarter and went right for the Reese's egg.
Gentry got the scooters up and going in no time!
Ready for church!  I also have to include that Alyssa has been doing her own hair for a long time now, but she is getting REALLY good!  She has been french braiding her hair and always coming up with fun new styles.  I'm really proud of her!
Then it was off to my parents house for dinner.  Gentry and I rode the tandem bike to my parents house. (Which I need to add pictures of it, but the bike is so awesome it needs a post of its own.) And Gentry's parents were nice enough to drive my kids and our food over.
 IT WAS BEAUTIFUL WEATHER!!!
Wouldn't you know it?!?   I was the first one to find my egg!
I am going to put together an album of pictures where Matt is in the background picking his nose or showing his butt crack.

Gentry was the LAST one in our family to find his egg...and actually it was ME that found it for him.
I'm so glad Gentry's parents come to the family events.  Everyone loves having them, (and Cyndy makes a fabulous spaghetti salad.)

 HAPPY EASTER!

Alyssa's School Play

Alyssa is in the student council at school.  They put on a play for the school about recycling.  She had a couple parts and did a really good job!  (Apparently the group skipped a whole paragraph, which included one of her lines.)  But I don't think anyone noticed.  They did a really cute job!

I swear she keeps getting taller!  Good job Alyssa:)  We are proud of you!

KIDS ART

I love when my kids make things...sometimes the mess drives me crazy, but I won't mention that:)

I took some pictures of some of their latest projects.

The boys had 100 day at school. I love how different their pictures are.
Boston's
 Brock's

Brock's...when he's 100 he want's to be as tall as Uncle Nate, and eat shrimp.
Boston's...when he's 100 he wants to be as tall as Grandma Cyndy (who's maybe 5ft tall...way to dream big buddy!)
Brock made this pencil ship...I thought it was creative.
This was (a copy of) Alyssa's poem that she entered for reflections...and won!
The boys were making these for Easter decorations.
On Sunday, Brock was VERY busy on the computer.  Making this.  Unfortunately some of the letters got cut off when he printed it.  But he even took time to punch out the stars on the edges.
Love these kids!
