MONSTER TRUCK JAM

This was our first year ever going to the Monster Truck Jam. Our friend Christa found out about the tickets and got a big group of us to go.  The kids all loved it.  I don't know if it's up my alley.  It was just really SLOW and didn't ever end.  But it was fun to try it out.  It was super loud so we all had to wear ear plugs.  We couldn't talk much, and I'm bummed I didn't get a group shot.  Christa and her family was there along with the Bullock family, the White family and us. 

  The boys fell asleep on the way home...of course still wearing the ear muff things.

Will You Be My VALENTINE?

The kids all wanted to make Valentine boxes again this year.  Gentry was nice enough to do it with them.

I thought they turned out really cute.  Boston chose an iPod with the Gangnam Style guy.

 Brock was INSISTING on Gordon Hayward.

 Alyssa chose Taylor Swift on her iPod.

 We took the kids to the new Texas Roadhouse right by our house.  They ate a million rolls and peanuts and still finished off their entire diner.

 We decided next year Valentines could be just with us:)

 Alyssa had cheer that night and Gentry said he would take her.  When he left he told me something was on the front door.  He ordered me flowers and they were delivered while we were gone.  Of course we "agreed" not to get each other anything, so I looked like the idiot....oh well better luck next time.

 Alyssa also forgot that she needed treats for all the girls at cheer so Gentry stopped at Walmart and got treats and got the boys these balloons.

On the way to dinner Boston was telling us what Amelia (his Valentine) gave him for Valentines so I asked Boston what the note said that he gave to Amelia  and Brock said "He wrote I love you!" Boston nodded in agreement and I said "Really?"  Brock throws up his arms and said "Ok, so maybe LOVE is too powerful of a word."  I about died laughing.

Then later that night there was a knock and run with a big 2 liter of Crush soda and some Mike and Ikes, with a note saying I have a "CRUSH" on you. Alyssa was gone but I could hear the boys yelling "O---M---G this thing is HUGE! It says from Luke Slack."  So Alyssa got a special Valentine too.
