Seven Peaks and 4th of July Parade

I took the kids to Seven Peaks the other day.  They loved it. I had to leave early because I had to get back to work.  The kids were having so much fun they didn't want to leave.

Alyssa was going to be in the Riverton Parade this year with her Cheer-leading group.  She couldn't wait.  She does cheer with her friend Morgan and they spent all day practicing cheers and getting ready for the parade.

We chose a nice comfy spot in the shade.  It was a little hard to see the parade, but unfortunately we didn't put out chairs a week before like the rest of the city.

Boston got pushed in the road and got a scrape....but the kid who did it apparently felt bad and gave him the shirt he got when he pushed Boston into the road.  So it all worked out in the end!
Not sure who thought it was cooler...Alyssa because she was in the parade, or the other kids who couldn't wait to see her.

 She is looking so old!!

Love that you went to Seven Peaks, I haven't yet...and don't really want to!
And the parade pics made me sad...you were even in our same spot, sniff sniff! Glad you had fun!

I totally agree that she is looking way to grown up!
