Where In The World Is "Victor, Montana"?

So many of you may be wondering why I decided to go private. Well let me explain.

I went private first of all because my brother really encouraged me to do so. I was a little bit defensive at first, but then I started checking my sitemeter and noticed that there was someone from "VICTOR, MONTANA" checking my blog at least once a day. I thought that was kind of weird because I don't know anyone that lives in Montana.

Next I went to a Girls Night Out with some friends from high school and told them about Mr. Victor Montana...of course I assumed it was a "he" because...well maybe I'm a bit sexist. Anyway I asked all of my friends if they knew anyone that lived in Montana and unanimously no one knew a single person. So my suspicions went up even more. I started to get nervous because it was 5:30 am one Sunday morning and I was up checking my blog and all of my friends blogs. I looked at my sitemeter and once again....the sicko let's call him "Victor" was checking my blog. I was SICK. I mean the man is a complete pervert if he is up that early checking my blog...right???? So needless to say I went private. My friend Lindsay went private the same day.

The next day I get a text from Lindsay and she says. "That Victor Montana was checking my blog...and the worst part is, he out clicked on our girls night out picture." Immediately I am thinking "Victor" is now out to get my friends too. I am sick, my mind is running everywhere. Finally I call Lindsay and ask what time he checked her blog. She said 7:00 am. I started to think...hmmm well I was checking your blog at that same time, and I out clicked on the girls night out picture. So I told Lindsay I'm checking your blog and making a comment right now. Let's see if for some odd reason it says I'm Victor Montana. Well sure enough guess who the freaking pervert is....ok so I'm not a pervert, I just like to check my blog everyday to see if I have any comments. I am Victor Montana. Can you believe that crap?

So anyway I'm still going to be private, but I'm going un-private for a while because I noticed some people never got their invites to my blog. So leave me a comment with your email address, or email me at elizmk@aol.com I will try to get everyone who I didn't get the first time. I had about 15 emails that didn't get answered, so I'm assuming that I didn't have the right email address, or I typed it in wrong.

PS...Random picture..but I hate to post without a picture..weird quirk of mine I guess.

Lagoon Again.

We went to Lagoon on Saturday for FREE!!! How awesome is that? My father in law got tickets from his work and it even included free parking and lunch. We had a blast. It was perfect weather and the rides seemed less crowded so we went on a ton more rides. The kids had so much fun. I went with the boys on the scrambler and I was laughing so hard because every time we spun around the kids would smack in to each other. I tried to put my hand in between them, but they could care less they were laughing as hard as me. Anyway my stomach hurt from laughing so hard, and as I got off Gentry asked "Um are you having more fun, or are the kids having more fun?" I'd say it was probably a tie. Gentry doesn't have much of a stomach for that kind of stuff so he took lots of pictures. I was so glad he came this time, he always makes me laugh. We had such a good time. THANKS FOR THE TICKETS KIM...and Kennecott!

I Spy With My Little Eye....

The letter of the week. Yes click on the pictures if you are having a hard time seeing it. Boston was quite proud of himself. He drew several capital H's all over the house. The H's on the couch are having a hard time coming off. Any ideas for ink on leather? Or ink on dressers? I thought Gentry was gonna lose it. Of course I was mad...but then thought I better take some pictures of these, who knows when he will draw H's again. My kids tend to have a short term memory and can't remember their letters:) Well it would have been a proud moment if only he could have done it on paper.

"Blonde" Moments

So this picture is actually kind of old (Jennifer was 9 months prego with Reese), but I didn't have a picture with me and my sisters to post, (and I don't like posting with out a picture.)

On to my story. I was driving with Missy (the other blonde) and she had to stop by the bank to make a deposit. So I told her I would drive her. Anyway we pull up to the bank and she hands me the check and I don't look at it because I don't want to be nosey. So I just set it in the plastic thingy and send it in to the teller. He comes to the window and I just say "Yes, can I deposit that into checking?" A few minutes later he interrupts me and Missy who are deep in conversation:) and says "Um, well this is actually a direct deposit reciept, but I checked and it's already been deposited into your account." Mortified I look at Missy and say "HELLO how did you not notice the part on the check that says NOT NEGOTIABLE?" and Missy says "Well I saw that, but I thought that it meant I couldn't change how much the check was made out for." Let's just say that was Missy's first time having a direct deposit check. I'm sure the guy thought we were the biggest idiots.

The BIG 29!!!

Wow Gentry is ALMOST 30. I started "going out" with him when he was 14 so you could say I've known him as my better half for more than half his life. CRAZY! He is always making me laugh. (Of course I tell him it's not because he's funny, I'm just an easy laugher. Is laugher even a word?) But he always keeps our family in a good mood. The kids would all say he's the "nice" parent, but it's just because I have more responsibilities. (wink wink) Am I making a lot of excuses? Anyway HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE! I LOVE YOU!

Random Moments

While I was talking to Brock today he was telling me that when he grows up and has a baby he is going to give it a bed with no holes. I didn't think much of it until I was putting him to bed tonight. It drives me nuts because he insists on sleeping on the top bunk, so that the "kitty's" can't get him. (We don't have cats, and neither do any of our neighbors, so I don't know what he is scared of.) He also has to get every pillow imaginable to put around the edges.(except for the wall sides) He acts like my "tough guy", but he is actually the BIGGEST wimp. Every night he sneaks in to Alyssa's room and curls up on the foot of her bed.

Alyssa sleeps on top of her comforter and uses another blanket so she doesn't have to make her bed in the morning. Isn't she efficient? (Now the boys copy her so no one uses their comforters.)

Boston sleeps in the guest room. He likes to sleep in there because he says Brock bugs him, and Brock stinks. (It's true though, Brock does have gas A LOT!)

My mother in law gave Alyssa these stickers. They decided to use them all at once. Wasn't that clever?:)

Weekend Update

So this last weekend we had a family reunion with Gentry's Mom's side of the family. It was really fun, her sisters are all really out-going and friendly. The kids had a ton of fun. Gentry's aunt and cousins were in charge of games, and they played the egg passing game, and the pillow case jumping races. My kids thought it was great.

Gentry couldn't wait to get home to watch the BYU game because he had it recorded, and didn't want someone to give away the score. Alyssa took our picture on the couch, and for some reason the flash didn't go off, but I have to put this picture on because the picture just previous to this one (I didn't post it) Gentry's one eye was kind of closed. I was teasing him...have any of you seen the Rob and Big episode where they are shooting pictures for the cereal box?...anyway that was Gentry's eye. (He made me watch every episode and it is the most retarded funny show.) Anyway Gentry wanted to make sure his eyes were open for this picture:)

Brilliant Brock

Brock is probably one of the smartest kids around(ahem)...he may not remember the letter of the day at preschool after reviewing it with him for 10 minutes, but he is a great problem solver in the family. A couple days ago our tv was having issues with the DVR and it wasn't working, so Brock said "I have a great idea, we should just put gas in it."

Then today he comes running in from taking Alyssa to the bus stop and is showing me this teeny tiny green ball and was ecstatic to say that he found a Leprechaun's Beach Ball. Who knew? If you would like to see it click on the picture and squint your eyes and you might be able to see it. He told me to hold on to it and not lose it, but let's be honest...I have no clue where it is. How am I supposed to keep track of something that small? I think he forgot about it anyway:)

Birthday Reunion

So it was Gentry's dad's-mom's (aka grandma) birthday and his family decided it was a perfect time for a reunion. So we went to Payson and had a little dinner get together at the park. It was fun. I don't really know many of his cousins, but they were all super nice. The funny thing is when we got to the park I took a look at Kassie and Cyndy and laughed cause we all looked like twins.

I also thought I would post a couple funny things my kids have said lately.

1. Boston came in while I was getting out of the shower and asked why his boobs didn't jiggle like mine. (um sorry that's not probably blog appropriate, but I laughed and had to tell him he doesn't have boobs.)

2. Brock and Boston asked if they could work at All A Dollar when they grow up. (I recorded that so they can watch themselves talk about their dream job when they are older.)

3. Boston and Brock love to say "potty" words. They are so proud they can spell their name and then they do something like:
"B-O-S-T-O-poo" They laugh at each other which only encourages the potty talk.

4. Alyssa is starting to pull her shirts off of her shoulders..she thinks it's pretty. I told her she was going to stretch out her shirts. (I can hear my mom saying the same thing to me.)

5. Alyssa is so determined to practice gymnastics. She is probably one of the most un-flexible kids, but she has been stretching for months so she can finally do the splits. She is also ALWAYS doing a hand-stand or a cartwheel. I remember driving my Grandma nuts doing hand-stands all throughout her house. (If I didn't break my wrists doing hand-stands now it might be fun...have any of you tried them lately???)

FAVORITE JOKE my kids tell several times a day...infact they tell me so many times it is starting to get to be funny again.
knock knock: Who's there?
Old Lady: Old Lady Who?
OldladyWhooo (said with a sing song voice)

Flipping Out!

So the kids decided to create a little "landing pad" so they can practice doing flips. I thought it was pretty funny, so I decided to post it.

Second you'll notice my lovely pictures of my arm. Well I decided to post it so you'll all be more aware of your moles. I went to the Dermatologist a couple weeks ago to get rid of my zits. I had her check a mole that was actually really small, but something about it gave me that "gut feeling" that I should have it checked. I took a picture of my other moles so you could see how small it was, compared to the scar that I now have. SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN. Anyway it was about 1/4 the size of a pencil eraser, but it was getting a little darker and it wasn't as round anymore. My Doctor (CANDACE SPANN if you need a fabulous dermatologist) took one look at it and said "I do not like the looks of that." Within minutes she was getting me numb and prepped for removal. About 3 days later she called me and said she had some very "pressing news". Two days after her phone call I was back in for surgery. (The picture I posted was 2 weeks after surgery, and you can still see I have a bit of bruising.) Long story short everything is ok, but I do have to go in every 6 months to have a full body scan to make sure nothing else changes. So as ugly as my new scar is, I am actually pretty grateful to have it there. I was talking to Gentry about everything and he said. "Aren't you so glad you had tons of zits, I mean the zits saved your life". (I'm pretty sure that was supposed to be a good comment, but we all know how it sounded) and to be honest I wouldn't have gone in to have a little mole checked, so I am....yes pretty grateful I had "tons of zits". Who knew I the words "I'm grateful for my zits" would come out of my mouth.

Random side note: My Dr. also said that tanning in a tanning bed increases your chances of melanoma by 75%. THAT IS CRAZY!!! Unfortunately I worked at a tanning salon in high school and took advantage of my free tanning...boy do I regret it!
