Arizona Anniversary Weekend

Gentry and I went to Arizona for a few days with Nick and Mignon.  They invited us and so we used the excuse of it being our 14th Anniversary to go.  We had a great time.  We had hoped to go down to warm weather, but it ended up raining the whole time.  It didn't matter though because we still had a great time doing what I love....Shopping...and eating!

First stop after getting off the plane....Deluxe.  It was a really good hamburger joint with yummy sweet potato fries!

Mignon and I got the same coats....different colors of course.

By the time we made it to dinner it was about 8:30 so we ate  at Zupas which was near our hotel.

It was raining so the first thing we did was go SHOPPING!

Nick found this coat for me...I was super excited.  I loved it!

We ate lunch at a little grocery store there called Sprouts.  It's kind of a healthy place...they don't even sell soda!  But the sandwiches were really yummy!

We went to the mall and it had a theater in it...so we went to see Catching Fire.  Nick and Mignon's neighbors happened to be in Phoenix and met up with us for the movie.

Then we met up with Nick's brother Joey and his boyfriend Josh.  Rebecca and Jason Knight.

We attempted this....it was CHAOS! 

Then lunch at Pita Jungle.  It was a fun casual restaurant!

We may have done a little shopping.  I'm blaming the rain.  It really wasn't a choice.  We had to shop! :)

We had a couple hours when it wasn't raining so we went in the hot tub.

Then Joey and Josh had us over for dinner at their house.  They were the best hosts.  Yummy food and they just are super nice people!

This is the view off the balcony from our room.  It really was beautiful!

We had such a good time we were sad to leave!!!
