We started the weekend off with a yummy BBQ at Jenni and Chris's house. They were nice enough to let us crash at their house for the weekend.
Gentry took the kids on a walk to find some Geocaches in the area.
Then we got tickets to see the Las Vegas 51's game. They played the Salt Lake Bees. It was really fun and we got there early enough to get free jerseys!
The kids all got their faces painted too!
Saturday morning we all went on a hike in Red Rock canyon.
It doesn't look very scary, but I was really proud of myself for getting to this spot....scared of heights.
Gentry climbed up the rock looking for a geocache. It wasn't there but he looked tricky doing it:)
The kids (and Gentry) found a couple different geocaches on the hike.
Monday morning (Memorial Day) their stake had a fun run. We all attempted the 5K. Most finished it. Brock started running, and I thought he would stop shortly after, but he kept ahead. Alyssa got a bad side ache and had to walk at a little over a mile, so I walked with her for a little while. I called Gentry to see if he saw Brock (Gentry stayed with Kate and Boston to do the 1 mile) and he said Brock had just passed him. So I sped up trying to catch him and I never did catch up. He finished in 26 minutes! I was so proud of him!
Brock was SUPER sore the next day!
We dropped the kids off at Circus Circus for a few hours with CJ and the adults went to tour a little bit more of Vegas...and stop at the mall. We all got to do something fun!
We went to Fremont Street. It was a place you never need to go twice....this restaurant is for real...so gross. I guess they even make shakes with a cube of butter. Ugh.
After shopping/Circus Circus, we checked into our hotel. Everyone had to go back to work/school so we wanted to let them have their space after intruding all weekend. The hotel was really fun and we loved the pool.
Last day with the cousins!!!
