DOUBLE DIGITS

I can't believe my little boys are 10 this year.  It's honestly crazy.  They are so much fun to have around.  They're always up to something and always keeping us laughing.

The boys asked us to decorate the house.  They were pretty excited with the decorations.
Brock wanted sunglasses and Gentry ordered some but they didn't come in time.  So we gave him a picture of the glasses.  He was a little stressed that we were playing a trick on him.
Boston has been asking for rollerblades for a long time so he was really excited to get these.
We got them go carts because we are the best parents ever. :)

They both said this is the best birthday ever.

My parents stopped by before they left for school because they were leaving for Las Vegas.

I checked the boys out of school for lunch and took them to Chick fil a.
I just can't get over how quickly they have grown!
We went to dinner at Zupas with Gentry's parents
Then Brock wanted to go get a new mitt and Boston wanted to go to Build A Bear.  It cracks me up how opposite they are.
I even made a cake and put 10 candles and 2 sparklers.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOYS!  WE LOVE YOU!

Mother's Day 'n Stuff

This last few weeks has stayed SUPER busy.  I always feel like I'm trying to play catch up.
Adrienne came to visit with her friend Mandy.  They thought it would be fun to go see Good Things Utah...so we made the arrangements.  It turned out to be really fun!

Angie and I had a really big meeting the next day.  They even had pictures being taken, so this is one of the guys we have been working with.

Saturday was really rainy so Brock's games were cancelled.  We told the kids we wanted to do something fun.  They wanted to go look at model homes...weirdos!  Then we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner.  They were really excited because we told the waitress it was their birthday (it's almost their birthday.) They got to sit on the saddle and they got ice-cream for dessert!
Gentry is always so good to me.  He cleaned the whole house today, and gave me a massage.  It was probably one of my favorite things today!
I love each one of my kids for their different personalities.  Alyssa has always been so helpful.  Boston has been my buddy lately, he is content to hang out with me and go to the grocery store.  Brock is our little athlete he is so much fun to watch at the games.  I'm so grateful for these guys, and they put up with me and my crazy schedule.  It makes me sad how quickly time goes by.  They are getting so old!!

This is our 4 generation picture.  My grandma Betty (95) Mom (70) Me (33) Alyssa (12)
The boys both made Mother's Day cards for me.  I love getting their cards.  They make my day.

Easter At The Mikesell's

Kim had to work Easter Sunday so Cyndy decided to celebrate Easter the following Sunday.  It made it more fun being able to keep the fun lasting longer!
I still can't get over how old the kids are all getting.  I swear just last year they couldn't even walk....time flies.

The kids got new swim suits.  They are so adorable!  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!
Monday was Angie's birthday.  She had to return some boots so I volunteered to help her out.  I talked her in to these boots....which I am so jealous of.
We went to Kneaders with our friend Brenda too.  Angie got a free cupcake...now I know where I am going for my birthday lunch:)

Happy Easter!

I was so excited because this year Gentry had Saturday off, so he got to join us for the traditional Easter Egg Hunt. This is Alyssa's last year before she is too old!  She actually went with a few friends the night before to the "teen" flashlight Easter Egg Hunt.
The boys were excited to have Morgen join them.  Alan and Morgen drove down the night before because they wanted to make sure to visit Grandma Betty while she was here.

We went over to my Mom's house after the Easter Egg hunt and dyed Easter Eggs.

Brock had two Accelerated games.  Unfortunately they lost both games.  But he still played really well.

Boston, Morgen and Porter came to see the second game.  They went to the neighborhood Easter egg hunt during the first game.
Grandpa Al, Grandma Suzie, Great Grandma Betty, Uncle Alan and Grandma Cyndy all came to watch Brock play baseball!

Easter morning the kids woke up bright and early to see their Easter baskets.
Gentry told the kids that he hid their Easter baskets upstairs so they all went running, until I was dying laughing and told them he was teasing them.  The Easter baskets were hidden in the basement.

The boys insisted on wearing matching purple shirts and Boston forgot his tie.  Alyssa went shopping with Grandma Cyndy to find a dress last night.
The traditional Easter egg hunt before dinner at my parent's house.
Grandma Betty even found her egg!

Janay's egg was super high in the tree (where it is every year) so she borrowed Maren's egg.
Kim had to work this year so Cyndy came with us!

Leonard (the dog) found my Dad's egg first...

It was a fun day!  Happy Easter!
