WHY IS IT STILL SNOWING IN MARCH?

Brock has started baseball practice.  While he practiced, Boston practiced math.  He's getting lots better!
My mom bought some new nail polishes and let Alyssa borrow them.  Somehow Alyssa talked Gentry into painting her toenails.  He did such a good job I don't think she's gonna want me to ever do it.
For week 3 of off track, we took the kids to Trafalga.  They had a good time.
Christa rode the ride with them.
The boys' faces crack me up.

Alyssa tends to take after me...we are terrified of heights.  This is as high as she got the first few times, but apparently when I wasn't watching she made it up the whole way.  So I guess she is braver than me.
Gentry was working on Saturday and Alyssa was at a friend's house so Christa and I took the kids to see The Croods.  I wasn't super excited to see it, but I ended up liking it even more than my kids.  I thought it was hilarious.
It snowed the last few days here, but by the end of the day the majority was melted.  The boys kept busy trying to make a wall.  They got the cooler from the shed and shoveled the snow off the grass and built a wall.  I love that it keeps them busy!  But I'm ready for SPRING!!

Frannie's New Haircut...to Gentry's Skills

Frannie got her first "official" haircut.  She looked so much better.

Boston and Brock were playing and Brock's head somehow hit into Boston's mouth.  Just one more injury to chalk up.
Adrienne came into town and we joined some friends for lunch.
Boston came in showing me this and saying "Mom, look I made a pumpkin!"
Gentry wanted to let us know that he could still do his front handspring....not sure if his wrists have healed yet.
Brock and Boston have been loving Legos lately.  Brock made this and wanted to enter it into some Lego contest.

Adrienne's parents came into town and had two extra Jazz tickets.  Gentry was nice enough to let us go while he stayed home with the kids.

My parents went to Minnesota to visit Jennifer and her family.  They brought back this stuff for my kids.  So naturally they had to pin it to their walls.  (Their room is going to need a lot of putty and paint to make it look nice.  They are always pinning or taping something to the walls.)

Day With Grandpa Al

While we were at Alyssa's cheer competition, my boys wanted to go to my parent's house.  Luckily they were nice enough to entertain my boys for the day.  Later that night Boston said "That was the funnest day ever!"
My Dad took the boys to Scheels to ride the Ferris Wheel....he sent this pic from his phone.  (I have to admit he's pretty good on his phone...taking pictures and emailing them to me!)
They went to Sam's Club and Del Taco....they were everywhere!  The boys LOVED it.

Home Depot offers a free little kids building thing where they get to go build stuff.  My Dad was nice enough to take the kids there.  (I may have told him it was at Lowe's and didn't realize I was wrong until they were already at Lowe's)
The boys requested this picture...they said "Wait, we want to take an Lincoln picture" aka straight faces.
They had a hard time keeping a straight face...

Alyssa's Cheer Competition

Alyssa had another cheer competition this weekend.  This time it was at Weber State University.  Her team didn't do as well as last week but they still got 4th place.  Last week was 1st place so it was a little more exciting.  Either way they did a great job!  We are proud of her!!!
Alyssa and Ashlyn.  Ashlyn's Mom was in St. George, so she came with us to the competition.

Blue and Gold

The boys have been LOVING scouts.  They have really great leaders.  Now they can't wait for the Pine Wood Derby.

BOYS 'N BOXES

The other day Boston said "Mom, remember when you surprised us with that huge box when we came home from school?  That was AWESOME!"
Well a few years ago we had a giant sofa box and I told the boys we got them a "surprise".  They loved it even more than I thought they would.  So when Boston was reminding me about the story, I thought I'd go back to Costco to see if they had any extra boxes.  But they didn't.  No one has any boxes.  So Gentry decided to buy a new BBQ smoker and luckily it came with a box.  I also posted on Facebook to see if anyone had any at their house....and luckily they did.  The boys have loved making a fort.  They just said they still need MORE boxes.  Oh boy.
They can make anything out of boxes, duct tape and a little construction paper.

Jessica Got Her Mission Call

My cute niece Jessica decided to go on a mission.  We are so proud of her and excited for her to go!  She just got her mission call, and my parents drove her to Las Vegas so she could open it with her family.  We got to "FaceTime" with her to watch it from home.

She was called to LIMA PERU EAST mission.  She will be a great missionary.  We will miss her!!!
