This is This and That is That

Going through some pictures on my phone again....

Brock hurt his finger at school.  He wore this for a few days.  We took him to insta-care because we thought he broke it after complaining for so many days.  No break though.  He preferred this over what the insta-care gave him.

 New fire pit.  We love it.  The kids always want to roast marshmallows now.

 Kids came in our room at night and asked if we could go to Las Vegas to see their cousins. 

 Chick-fil-a had Torch the Blaze mascot come with the team.  He came and saw my empty cone on my tray and refilled it with ice-cream!  My lucky day!

 Kids won some free stuff too!  A shirt and a Blaze license plate.  They were excited to get autographs too from the team.

 The boys wanted to go swimming in the pool.....even though it was only 55 degrees.  It took their breath away when they jumped in, but they couldn't stop laughing.

 VIP night at Chick-fil-a.  Alyssa had cheer so she didn't come....she didn't want to miss cheer.

 The boys exploring at Katie's house in the fields nearby.  They loved finding treasures!

 Boston cut his lip while playing tag at school.  He tripped on the playground and it cut all the way through.  We waited for almost 2 hours at the ER before deciding to leave and get stitched up at the insta-care....(It was much cheaper than an ER visit.)

 He was scared to get the stitches.  That night he slept walked into our room crying saying he didn't want more stitches....I think it traumatized him!

Brock's Baseball

 Boston usually brings a friend to the game and they ride scooters around.

 Brock is loving playing baseball.  He plays catcher most games.  Every now and again he pitches a little bit.  We love watching him play.

Alyssa's Cheer Banquet

 I'm so bummed I didn't bring my good camera.  These pics are from my phone.  There were 3 awards given out and Alyssa received one!  We were really proud of her!

I have several pictures from my phone that I wanted to have in my blog book....so here are some odds and ends.

 Brock made this Easter Bunny outfit.  Later he tried hiding Easter Eggs outside for friends but the outfit kept blowing and ripping so he had to take it off.

 Morgan slept over and Alyssa did their hair like this so it would be curly the next day.

 Boston won the Dollar Dig at school.  He grabbed the closest amount of pennies to a dollar.

 Baseball with the family...Boston wanted to rollerblade.

 Brock made nun-chucks out of an old necklace.

 The boys found this picture and thought it was hilarious.

 Brock wrote these books at school.

 Alyssa is still really good at doing her own hair.  She is always coming up with something new.

PINEWOOD DERBY!

Boston and Brock were so excited for this night.  They couldn't wait!  They had a lot of fun.  Boston's car won 1st place one time (each car raced four times).  Brock's car didn't do as well (he took last every time I think).  But at least it makes them want to try harder for next year.
