ELF ON THE SHELF

While I was at the expo, the kids decided to decorate the house for Christmas...TWO WEEKS earlier than normal!  Boston loves Christmas but he especially loves the Elf On the Shelf!

I came home from the expo and he had made this costume for himself.
He also made this Elf at my mom's house.  He wanted my Grandma Betty to have an Elf On the Shelf.  I thought it was so cute.  He told my mom she was going to have to move it every night since it wasn't a "real" elf.
Gentry and I went to the new Hunger Games movie Mocking Jay.  Not my type of movie, but Gentry loved it.  I was super excited because I won TWO prizes!  Dinner for two at Texas Roadhouse and a red hat! Wahoo!  The tickets were $20 each and it was for a Huntsman Cancer donation.  Each movie ticket came with a raffle ticket and then you could buy extra tickets for $2.  I had $2 in my pocket so I bought an extra raffle ticket.  Luckily I won!
Did I mention that Boston LOVES Christmas?  He even got Frannie dressed up as a reindeer!  I don't know how much she loves the costume though:)
We found this letter to Santa in the mailbox.  I loved it.

Connor is still on his mission so Boston made this for him.

Boston is trying to prove to me  that he can take care of rats.
On Thanksgiving Boston made this card for me.  It made me cry.  He is such a sweet kid!
We spent Thanksgiving at Gentry's parents house and then went to see Big Hero 6.  It was a cute movie, and a fun Thanksgiving!
Boston decided to make his own rat and taped a tail on his Zu Zu pet.  He told me he named it Walnut.  I told him that was actually an Acorn on his back but he said "That's ok I'll still call him Walnut."   I cracked up!

EXPO EXPO EXPO

This was our expo set up.  We did two shows in a row, one weekend after the next.  To say we were tired would be an understatement.  But I loved the way the booth turned out!
The first expo we did was the Pinners Conference.  It did really well!  The second expo was the Salt Lake City Annual Christmas Gift Expo.  It turned out really well too!

Happy 15 Anniversary!

So I think when we thought about our 15 year anniversary, we thought we would be on a beach somewhere exciting.  Unfortunately with work that didn't happen.  We spent dinner at Texas Roadhouse, and the rest of the night shopping at Costco and packing a trailer for the expo.  Next year we will have to go somewhere exciting.

Alyssa is a TEENAGER!!!

I can't believe it!  I have a teenager!  Where does time go???

Both Gentry and I had to work on Alyssa's birthday so the week before I took her to lunch and shopping for her birthday.  She picked Chick-fil-a for lunch of course!
Gentry went to grab her breakfast on her birthday and she seemed to love everything she got. (She picked it all out:)
Both Gentry and I were trying to get home as  soon as possible.  We had rented a bouncy house for her friends so the kids played in that all day.  Her friend Ellie and her friends mom Emily took Alyssa out to lunch at the Training Table.  I thought that was so nice of them. Alyssa had fun with that too.
I didn't get a picture with all of the kids from the party but I got a few of them in the shot:)
Happy Birthday Alyssa!! We love you!!

Happy Halloween!

This year I helped out at the kids school for their Halloween Party.  One of the games was wrapping each other up like a mummy with toilet paper.

They did a bunch of fun games.  I was in charge of a doughnut eating game, and instead of tying it on a string the kids just had to eat it off a plate with no hands.

We went Trunk Or Treating with Adrienne's kids at their church.  That was the first time we had ever done that!  It was such nice weather!!
Alyssa went trick or treating with her friends.  She dressed up in her cheer uniform and went as a cheerleader.  We didn't get a picture of her cause she was gone all day with friends.
