Boston and Brock had scout camp this week too. They missed the first day of camp because Brock had his game, and Boston didn't want to go while the cousins were here visiting.
Cooper, JT and Kate have stayed with us for a week. I was a little nervous to have 6 kids for a week but they have all been really good. They have walked over to the District about every day. They buy the most random things. Boston came home with a brush (he has a buzz) and Alyssa bought deodorant and a toothbrush holder. But they all seem excited about their purchases.
This picture makes me laugh at how different girls and boys can be at times.
Chick-fil-a had their dress like a cow day. You get a free meal if you dress like a cow....so that's what we did of course!
The last month we had a cat show up at our house. It just stayed because we fed it, and I couldn't find the owner. So I decided to take it to the vet and get shots for it. When we took it in the vet said that it was having kidney failure and it was blind in both eyes. So my kids all cried when he suggested we put it down. I felt bad too, but I thought it was cruel leaving the cat to live in misery.
The next day the kids convinced us we needed a new kitty. Gentry found this one online. She is a Napoleon, which is half Persian and half Munchkin. We think she's pretty cute.
MEET DAISY!!
Funny story: While we were waiting in the vets office Boston farted. I got mad because it stunk and I didn't want the vet thinking it was me. So Boston quickly replies "Just tell the vet it was the cat!" I died laughing because he was so quick to respond.
One last story. The boys got nerf guns for a birthday party earlier in the week. They left them out yesterday so I picked it up and aimed it at Brock. He started to run away and then said. "Actually I'm not worried, you won't hit me you're a bad aimer." So three shots later, I never hit him. I guess he's right. I need to work on my aim.
