Happy Birthday Gentry!

Gentry turned 35!  He's old! ha ha.  He didn't want anything for his birthday, just the new iPhone.  He woke up at 1:00 am to buy it the week before his birthday...but they are sold out until October 2-14.  He's been super bummed.  The boys were excited about Gentry's birthday.
Brock was so excited to give him his present and card!

Boston worked hard on his present and card too!  So cute.

We went to Panda Express for his birthday....we had to hurry cause both boys had football practice.

Riverton vs Tooele

So we haven't won a game yet....it's getting depressing.

Brock got hit pretty hard and was down for a bit.  It stressed me out and so I ran onto the field....yes I am "that" mom.

He stayed out for the first half, and went back in for the 2nd half.  He had a great tackle.  Glad we have photographers to get it on camera!

Now let's hope for a win next week!!!

Riverton VS Taylorsville Football

So last week I was able to make it to Brock's game before I had to leave for Vegas.  I was glad I got to see him play.  He had a couple fun plays.
Brock is #1...he's heading into the crowd.
Then switches just a little bit trying to get inside.
 almost in...

 He's in...
He stripped the ball....and headed for a touchdown.  They blew the whistle and wouldn't let us count it.  What a bummer.  After watching the video you could tell Brock should have gotten the touchdown.  It went so fast I didn't know what was going on until I saw the pictures afterwards.

Beddy's Updates

So it's been a whirlwind, and I've slacked in every area of my life.  We just got our first shipment in, we delivered it, and then went to Vegas for an expo show, then back....and several thousand emails later...here I am.

Gentry and I headed to our fulfillment center the morning our shipment arrived.  It was such a crazy feeling knowing this was all just an idea a few years ago.  Our fulfillment guy (Jon) already had a ton of boxes stacked and ready to ship out by the time I got there.
Did I mention we were so excited to see our boxes?  We put a lot of thought and detail into everything, and it was  so cool to see it happen.  We delivered to several of our friends and they were all so excited.  We also got a ton of people telling us it was so much nicer than they had anticipated.
We went back on Good Things Utah to do a few fun ideas for the bedroom.
The first idea was to do the jersey pillows.  I had thought about this a while back, but decided to use some jerseys I bought for only $5.00 at the football sign ups.  Brock loves these pillows.

The other idea we showed was how to make a DIY bedskirt.  Basically gather fabric and staple it to the box springs.  It turned out really cute!
